I’m not gonna lie…I have always thought the real warm cozy type of winter boots were ugly. Until now. Seriously? How cute are these boots by Sorel??? (Left: Suka/Right: Shila)

I’m used to wearing flip flops in the snow. Mostly because I’m an idiot, but also because I had no warm shoes that were worth the effort to put on! I love these “Shila” boots and think they are definately cute, comfy and warm enough to be worth having a boot with laces!

Sorel was one of the sponsors of The Summer Social Retreat ’09 (put on by April, SweetLifeInTheValley.com) They were kind enough to give away 5 pairs of boots at the event as well as a few pairs for us to review. I had the hardest time picking between the “Suka” and the “Shila” (shown above)!

Yes V, that’s me. April, Sha, and I went up to Sundance and took pics of us in our boots for the review
Them boots are super comfy. GET SOME!
Those certainly look comfortable. What a terrific asset boots like this would be in weather like what we’ve been having in Utah. Great feature.

Hiya!
I bought these boots (the lighter lace up pair) on a ski holiday in the Alps Jan 2011. They’re so comfortable, very cosy and look really cute! The only thing I would say is because the soles have the perfect sole and grip for walking around in the snow, they look as though they would wear down easily on non-snowy terrain. That said I am very pleased with my purchase (I’m a difficult woman to please!) and I was thankful I had them once I returned from the Alps to a snowy UK! I just look after them by not wearing them out and about, which I must say is very difficult as they are that comfortable!
I’d definitely choose Sorel boots again, should I need a replacement pair
